Beth“Makeover” may not have been my first word, but it was sure close. I was forever getting into my mom’s make-up, clothes and jewelry to forge a life long love affair with being made up. Okay, so here we go. I’m in love. When I was a kid, my mom became the counter manager for Estee Lauder at our local department store. As soon as she took the position, the company sent all of the wrong sized displays for the spring line. Are there down sides? Yep. Lots. But for now, there is beauty and lots of it.

I have undoubtedly jumped on almost every beauty trend and made every mistake there is to make. But I’ve also learned a lot about the subject, about myself, and I’ve had some successes along the way. And it’s still a subject that excites me. My theme song should be “I Enjoy Being a Girl” and my life-long quest has been for the perfect pink lipstick
